Special Olympics Colorado:
– LETR (Law Enforcement Torch Run) is an annual event usually in May. Local law enforcement agencies partner with first responders who help to carry the Special Olympics Torch across Eagle County with our local special Olympic athletes. This event helps to bring awareness and raise funds for our local special Olympic athletes to travel and participate in the Colorado Special Olympic games in Grand Junction every June at Mesa State College.
Polar Plunge is an annual event. Local law enforcement agencies partner with first responders who sign up to ‘take a plunge’ into Nottingham Lake to again raise awareness and funds for our local special Olympic athletes.
